📝 Procedure for Seeking Information

Prepare Written Application

Write an application in English or Hindi mentioning your full name, contact number, postal address, and specific details of information sought from BRMGSS.

Application Fee Payment

Enclose an Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) of ₹10/- in favour of "Bharatiya Railway Mal Godam Shramik Sangh" payable at New Delhi. (BPL cardholders are fully exempt).

Submit to CPIO

Send your application by Registered / Speed Post or submit by hand at the Head Office address: D-86, Sahyog Vihar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi – 110059.

Timeframe for Disposal

The CPIO shall respond to the application within 30 calendar days. If the information concerns the life or liberty of a person, it shall be provided within 48 hours.

First Appeal Procedure

If you do not receive a response within 30 days, or are aggrieved by the decision of the CPIO, you may prefer an appeal to the First Appellate Authority within 30 days from the date of receipt or expiry.

Appeal Fee: No additional fee is required for filing the First Appeal.
