In accordance with the latest notifications issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, and subsequent representation by BRMGSS National Leadership, the rates of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) and minimum handling wages payable to railway goods shed loaders and un-loaders have been revised with effect from 1st April 2026.

All handling contractors, freight forwarders, and handling agencies operating across Indian Railway goods yards are legally mandated to disburse wages as per the revised wage schedule without unauthorized deductions.

Workers are requested to report any instances of underpayment, wage delay, or commission deduction to the BRMGSS Zonal Legal Cell or through the Citizen Grievance Portal immediately.
